The summer holidays are here and for many of us that means jetting off abroad for a week or two in the sun. We’re accustomed to shopping around for the best deals on flight and accommodation but did you know that there are lots of savings to be made if you pre-book your airport parking online?
Take Manchester Airport for example. There are a plethora of choices available when it comes to parking your car. But don’t just leave it until the last minute as you could save a lot of money on Manchester Airport Parking if you book it online before you go. At the time of writing this article, there’s currently a great deal on Manchester JetParks parking, which offers 8 days’ parking for just £29.99. It’s an on-airport car park and takes just five minutes to transfer to the airport.
You need to consider whether you wish to purchase on-airport parking or whether you’d be happier to leave your car further away from the airport. On-airport parking is a great time saver, but is slightly more expensive. We’d definitely recommend it unless you’re on a tight budget, in which case you could save a few pounds by parking a bit further away. Either way, you’ll usually benefit from free, regular transfers to the airport.
If you’re happy to pay a premium, then for sheer convenience you could also consider Meet and Greet services. This can be a great time saver and allows you to experience the VIP treatment of having someone else take care of the hassle of parking your car for you.
Whatever type of airport parking you decide on, make your mind up before you go and save £££s by avoiding the car park turn-up rates which can be considerably more expensive than if you were to pre-book it. You’ll also have piece of mind knowing that there is a guaranteed space for you. There are so many options to choose from, so knowing in advance exactly how much you expect to pay and where you’ll park your car really takes the stress out of the airport experience.
To recap, consider whether it is important to have on-airport parking, especially if you are likely to be inconvenienced by longer transfers to the airport. Do your research and know which car park will offer you the best value for money. And finally, book early to avoid disappointment and to get your holiday off to the best possible start.
